BIOGRAPHY
Jeffrey Vanderveen is a
sole practitioner specializing in the legal practice
of Probate, Estate Planning, Bankruptcy and Business
matters. He was born on April 12, 1954 in Newton,
Massachusetts and he received his Associate of Arts
degree from San Diego Mesa College in 1976 and his
Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from
the University of California at San Diego in 1978.
In 1983 he received a
Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University
School of Law in Malibu, California and while
attending he served as Vice-Chairman of the
Professional Standards Committee.
Prior to becoming a sole
practitioner he was a senior partner in the Law Firm
of WILLIAMS, VANDERVEEN, SINGLETON and NENNEY and
also worked for three (3) years as a Probate
Examiner for the Orange County Superior Court.
He has taught estate
planning and probate classes for the last ten (10)
years at various colleges in the Orange County area
and he is currently teaching at the University of
California, Irvine. For over fifteen (15) years he
has had extensive experience representing clients on
issues such as Will contests, disputed Trust
matters, probates of Wills, and contested
Conservatorship and Guardianship matters.
His practice also
includes the representation of parties in Chapter 7,
11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings in the Central and
Southern Districts of California and representing
business clients regarding corporate and partnership
matters. |
